Digital bins provide access for students to use technology strategically and capably. Students will use digital bins that offer a collection of primary and secondary source texts. Digital primary sources can include photographs, interview transcripts, advertisements and news broadcast clips. Students can interpret, analyze and synthesize the information from several sources in these bins in order to identify themes and deepen their understanding. Instead of just interpreting sources provided by their teacher, students will independently demonstrate the ability to locate and answer questions raised or to solve problems efficiently.
